Innovation Award Mentor – Mark Hopler

Mark Hopler is a Senior Vice President serving as a Credit Advisor for Pinnacle Financial Partners. Mr. Hopler has 17 years’ experience in commercial lending specializing in commercial real estate (CRE) finance. He currently manages a bank asset portfolio over half a billion dollars.  

Prior to joining Pinnacle in 2020, Mr. Hopler oversaw credit risk on a mix of CRE and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) loans at First Horizon Bank. Prior to First Horizon, he led an underwriting team for commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) at SitusAMC, a globally recognized real estate advisory company. 

Mark earned a Bachelors in Business Management with a Minor in Accounting from the University of North Carolina.
