Innovation Award Mentor – Justin Ckezepis

Justin Ckezepis grew up in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. He pursued his passion for media at Appalachian State University, earning a degree in Electronic Media/Broadcasting. In 2012, he became a licensed real estate broker, followed by his law degree in 2015. Justin opened his own real estate law practice in 2016, which he successfully ran until 2021 when he decided to focus on spending more time with his family. 

In 2023, he took on a new venture as Owner & General Manager of WSIC, a news/talk radio station serving Lake Norman, North Charlotte, and the surrounding communities. Adding to his portfolio, in 2024, Justin became the publisher of Lake Norman Woman Magazine.
